Robert Griffin III (knee) will not start Sunday's game against the Browns.
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Redskins informed Kirk Cousins that he will be the starting quarterback in a Saturday team meeting. Griffin practiced on a limited basis this week, but failed to earn medical clearance after it was determined that he could further damage his knee by playing. Cousins is now set to make his first career start after coming off the bench last Sunday to lead the Redskins to an overtime victory over the Ravens. Griffin is targeting a Week 16 return.
